Local Dance classes for Adults
Published 1 year, 10 months ago in My life.I am seeking dance classes - jazz/hip hop/contemporary that sort of thing for Adults. There seems to be a plethora of classes for the youngins, but not 24yrs and up!
Does any one know of some classes in the North East suburbs?

Am not sure what suburb you live in, but try your local Community Houses. I have just started a Bollywood dance class at Yarrunga Community House in North Croydon. They run other dance classes as well. I am 44 yrs of age and most of the women in the group range in age from about 22yrs to 60yrs. We had a ball. The community houses also only charge a reasonable fee.
The Council of Adult Education (CAE) does a whole bunch of short courses in this area, Underbelly in Smith St Collingwood does Bellydancing, Bollywood, and I think African. There’s also BJs in Fitzroy, they offer ballroom, Latin and the like and I would say you get people from 20s to 60s, more 30s to 50s average I think, their website is http://www.bjsdancecenter.com.au/
